Super breakfast, there were even haggis. Great garden, very nice
Rooms very simple and a little used, the rooms are not in the castle but in the outbuilding

The location on the outskirts of Edinburgh with good access to the airport is convenient
The Castle, originally the stylish hotel, is only a slightly musty, unkempt appendage to the new hotel complex, which is modern but rather arbitrary. The staff is professionally polite, but nothing more.

The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the receptionist. the food was delicious and there was a wide variety to choose from for a satisfying breakfast. the spacious and clean bedroom and bathroom, including a bath, were very comfortable. the hotel grounds provided beautiful views of the Forth valley and the spa and pool facilities were excellent.
Felt totally relaxed, no reason to complain.

My Stay at Airth Castle was a delightful experience. I was initially given a room that had a few issues, but the staff quickly resolved the matter and moved me to a better room. The refund they offered was a nice gesture. I had a great time exploring the beautiful grounds and enjoying the delicious breakfast. The location of the hotel is stunning and the spa facilities were a relaxing treat. Despite a few minor hiccups, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a tranquil getaway.

The location was very relaxing. The room was exceptional. Even having a pool with a spa was great. The staff were excellent and helpful. Meals were very good. Overall I cannot list one thing but a combination of all these things. I attended a wedding on the Sunday at the actual Castle which was very romantic.
No comment here as I found things exceptionally good.

The staff were lovely. The castle is stunning however slightly mislead into thinking I would stay in the castle but the rooms are in the main hotel - new build, but still very nice. Food was fantastic and very good value for money.
Our room was dated and flat screen tv did not work. Reception advised they would send someone to fix it but didn't. However very minor issues and did not impact on our stay.

I enjoyed the stay at Airth Castle, very well situated for a number of te main cities in Central Scotland. Good menu, very well laid out dining room, and bar area. The spa option was very tempting, at sensible prices, but we did not find the time to fit it in with our intinery. Maybe next time.
We were given a room in the castle as opposed to the hotel, which meant walking up to the hotel for all meals. Ok most of the time but when it was raining, it meant taking the car the few hunderd yards. I woud have liked the option of having a room in the castle or the hotel. The castle room had all been modernised which took away from some the features that that room should have had. The bathroom was large, but although there was a heated towel rail in there, it was not on during our stay as it was supplied from the central heating. No mirror at the sink meant walking 2 metres to a wall mounted mirror when shaving. For me the room let it down compared to how it was described on the hotel website. The room was comfortable dont get me wrong, and also very peacefull. Having said all that, I will be back, but will insist on a room within the hotel next time.

Bar staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially with the children. Spa facilities were lovely too.
No provision for children eg kids club like Crieff Hydro. Beauty treatments not available unless booked before stay.
